Most of these students cannot afform the basics required for decent education, including uniform and school fees. Its incumbent on the community to lend a hand to such families.
Utana Foundation begun with this end in mind. Despite the insurmountable challenge, we believe we can change the community and the world, one child at a time. With your help and support, we can move this mountain.
We began our partnership with Utana Foundation in 2019, despite covid outbreak in 2020, we did not lose hope or stop. Since then, we have motivated over 350 students and the results are open for all to see. We really thank God for Utana Foundation and the work they are doing at Kanjeru Primary. The impact cannot be fully measured. We pray and hope that God will sustain them and enable them to support us for many more years to come. God bless you.
I am indebted to Utana Foundation for intervening and paying my school fees. They gave me hope and a chance to make it in life. I don’t know what I would have done were it not for their help. May God bless them.
The motivation program by Utana Foundation came at the right time. It made our lives easier as teachers since our students don’t need to be pushed any more. The program has seen the mean score improve and place the school in the County map as one of the most competitive schools. It has improved our reputation and attracted so many new students.
Ever since the motivation program started in 2019, I saw my children begin to work hard to receive the prizes from Utana Foundation. The prizes have changed the Community and every child talks fondly about them, all of them want to win a prize so they influence each other to work hard. This was a great initiative.
We promise to keep working hard not just to win the prizes from the foundation but to make it in life as the founders normally tell us. The motivation and scholarship programs have really made a difference to us.
