The Foundation begun a motivation program at Kanjeru Primary. The program was modeled as a prize giving exercise for every student that improved in subsequent exams. The idea was to motivate each student to do their best with their studies. In addition, the program promised to sponsor at least one successful but less privileged candidate with their Secondary School education. Different assorted gift items such as umbrellas, school bags, tea mugs, water bottles among others were given to the successful candidates. The program during its inaugural year saw the school improve more than 15 places up to being 4th in the sub-county, a feat they had not previously achieved.
The Result
As a result, the student enrollment has dramatically gone up since the school has become attractive to parents within the community.
There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning failure.– OLIVER SANDERO
